Be Here!

Every so often, I have to remind myself to be present. I'm looking forward too far, to the next activity, the next meal or the next bedtime routine.

And I miss the beauty of the moment, the here and now.

I'm constantly reminding myself that,"Babies don't keep." Neither do toddlers, or preschoolers, or teenagers.

Sometimes I have to just stop. STOP. Look my beautiful little girl in the eye, locate the twinkle in there, and just exhale and enjoy her sunshine.

I can honestly say that, for every time that I've done this, I have not once regretted being in the moment.
